RESEARCH ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION AND TERMS OF REFERENCE
Key duties and responsibilities
- Coordinating and supervising a small team
- Updating books of accounts
- Research on market trends and prices
- Record keeping and report writing
- E-mail correspondence and Social Media Profile updating
- Liaising with various suppliers and other third parties
- Any other tasks that may arise
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a student at the University of Nairobi
- Must have access to a computer/ laptop with internet connectivity
- Passionate about social media and IT
- Computer Literacy: very good knowledge of Internet and E-mail, MS – Office and Excel; knowledge of Social Network Sites e.g. Twitter and Facebook.
- Basic accounting skills – CPA Part II or QuickBooks an added advantage.
- Academic Sales and Marketing knowledge. Sales experience an added advantage e.g. multilevel marketing.
- Good knowledge of Nairobi City (CBD and its environs) as some travel within the city will be necessary
